환경운동가. '푸른 지구 운동'의 창시자. 캐나다의 대표적 시민운동 단체인 Council of Canadians의 공동 설립자로, 30년 넘게 이사회 의장을 맡아 활동했다. 또한 Food & Water Watch 이사회와 Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature 자문위원회 위원으로도 활동하고 있다.
